The church is open as often as possible. However because of other commitments it is not possible to guarantee opening times. So if you would like to visit us, please use the "Contact Us" email form to make sure that the church will be open when you come.

St. Columba’s by the Castle is situated a short distance down Johnston Terrace, near to Edinburgh Castle and the Festival Hub, and next-door to the Castle Rock Hostel. Our church can be recognised by the large blue door. Car and coach parking on the street is metered between 8.30am and 6.30pm (12.30-6.30pm on Sundays). There is a multi-storey car park at the bottom of Johnston Terrace on Castle Terrace. We are 10-15 minutes walk from Waverly Station and near to buses that stop on George IV Bridge and at the Usher Hall.
